Is this a reasonable reason to refuse further mediation sessions?

This is my first ever post so bare with me 🥰

I recently attended mediation with my ex husband of 5 years following our divorce. We have a 3 year old girl together.

mediation commenced to agree child proceedings but I found out after the second session that my ex had put a document relating to the session on Facebook with derogatory comments about me. My name and our daughters was clearly visible.

I ended the mediation session supported by my legal rep and the mediation company, and filed to court to have the problem resolved. Our first date has been set for Decemeber but his side are now requesting mediation again before the date which I am reluctant to do based on his past behaviour when we attended the sessions.

I have serious concerns he will continue to post about me and my child.

Will the court look unfavourably on me refusing to complete further mediation sessions on this basis or will they understand the breach of privacy?

I think you need to ask @MNHQ to move this over to Legal.

Hope you get the answerFlowers you want
