4 month sleep regression

How long does it take for babys sleep to go back to normal after 4 month sleep regression?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Completely depends on the baby (sorry - no help!!). We have an 11 month old and she seemed to skip the 4 month one but has been terrible since around 5.5 months and it hasn't got any better. My friend had a horrible few weeks at 4 months and now actually gets sleep at night (not that I'm jealous AT ALL 🤣).

Whatever phase they're in feels like forever at the time but you CAN do it, really hope you all get some sleep soon x

My second was 4.5mo and stopped sleeping for a month. We tried everything. In the end I coslept one night and she had a much better night's sleep. The following night we put her in her own room and she slept through from thereon! I think that in part she may have been disturbed by my husbands snoring. However she would sleep a bit and wake in line with sleep cycles and then stay awake for hours.

Baby turned 5 months last week and we are still in it, started at 16 weeks almost exactly so we’re about 6 weeks in now. He wakes to feed after a maximum of 2 hours, sometimes as little as 1 hour 20. Think there’s a growth spurt at 5 months too so that probably hasn’t helped!

I think it’s very baby specific as my niece and nephew didn’t have the regression at all 🤦🏻‍♀️

Got slightly better at 5.5 months then MUCH better at 7.

Gosh I remember this well! It does end. I promise. Didn't feel like it at the time though!

My DS was sleeping through the night by 3 months.
4.5 months it became hell.
7 months a little better
9 months all the way through again without a peep... and it's been that way since (gingers crossed... 15 months nearly now)

I think weaning helps. Well it did with us I think. DS bloody loves food. Weaning was easy for us. He was on 3 meals a day by 9 months and it became much better again.

Every baby is different but it does improve. Hold on mummy- you will sleep again!

Fingers crossed not gingets ffs 😅
