Tooth fairy

My son has lost a tooth. This has always been straightforward before. Tooth under pillow, swapped when sleeping. In his new room he is on a high sleeper. I cannot reach up. I planked money, but I failed to retrieve the tooth!

If you think the tooth fairy is stupid, go on, do not bother posting, because I do not care. I am just wanting some advice on getting teeth out of high sleepers going forward. Or maybe how to rationalise only under the pillow but tooth not uplifted. Ty.

Does it have a shelf or desk you can put it on instead. Tell DC makes it easier for tooth fairy to find as they are very busy and can’t spend too much time in each house

Do a plate below in future. But there's a ladder. Can't you get up it?

When my kids were at that age they had ‘tree house’ high sleeper beds that only had a small ‘window’ at the head/pillow end. Absolute nightmare the first time one of them lost a tooth but I did manage to get the tooth just about by standing on a chair and reaching in through the ‘window’ 😅

After that we made up something about the tooth fairy being in a rush so the tooth had to be left on their set of drawers to make it easier for her. The things we do eh? 🤣 Worth it for the excitement though. My kids are way past that stage now, it goes fast, so enjoy the fun.

We always did a plate on the bedside table to the tooth fairy didn't wake us!!

I remember always having to put the tooth in an egg cup next to my bed when I was a kid.

We have one of those fairy doors that you attach to the skirting board/wall and leave the tooth next to it. The DC think the fairy door is how the tooth fairy enters our house.

We have a little tooth fairy bag with their names on (from Amazon) which hangs outside bedroom door on the handle. Tooth in before bed and money appears in the morning!
