Next sleeping bags - avoid!

Anyone else had a problem with next sleeping bags? I've had two now where the stitching has come apart, even after a few washes. They are really poor quality despite being expensive so just wondering if others have found the same? I've put in a complaint to next but they don't seem interested in the safety aspect and just told me to return in store (but don't have my receipt so can't). I've also got other sleeping bags from supermarket brands that were worn all winter and they are as good as new!

Do you need a receipt to return something that's faulty?

I think if you paid by card you could probably show that as proof of purchase instead.

No answer on the quality I'm afraid though.

I used to work in Next and honestly you've a decent chance of exchanging or getting credit back for it even with no receipt. The computer will recognise it as recent stock (assuming you just bought it), and if that happened after a couple of washes it's clearly faulty.

If you paid via card and can find it on your statement you might be able to get money back.

I paid with a gift card that someone got for us unfortunately so can't claim back on card. I spoke to someone on the phone to complain and they are sending me a replacement at least.
