3-month old now constantly grizzly and crying in car seat

Hi all

Any tips on making a small baby tolerate the car seat again? They used to chill and sleep SO easily in it, but since they've turned 3 months it's now stressful going anywhere with them :(

I took the newborn insert out recently, but I'm sure they were crying a lot prior to this being removed (they're over the threshold anyway).

Thanks!

I saw Ashley James on instagram took her baby to a cranial osteopath which seemed to have helped her DD. You could also try a little mirror?

In my experience when you take the insert out they cry for a couple of weeks as it feels strange. They soon get used to it!

Mine hit 5 mo and decided he hated it. It seemed to be linked to the time of day, and if it was too soon for him to have a nap.

Sorry, no real advice but he did grow out of it over the next months

Yes we're the same, used to be guaranteed that baby would sleep in the car and now they just scream. I would say removing the insert has not helped. Probably cried before as it was too squashed and now crying after as it feels less supportive? I find a good teething toy and a calming playlist on Spotify helps
