Colief Drops

We recently put our baby on Colief Drops as he was showing symptoms of Colic and wasn't passing stools frequent.

He is now more settled (3rd day in) and has a dirty nappy once a day but it's quite watery - quite similar to BF nappies - is this normal? Or should we maybe use it in every other bottle - I don't want to undo what we have done so far as I said baby is more settled and pooping every day

Colief doesn’t have anything in to help them poo more often. If anything it would be the opposite.

How old is your baby?

Tanya1984 · 08/08/2023 13:38

He's 5 week this week

Our little one was on colief and had the exact same with increased watery nappies! It did settle on its own

Aww that's good to hear. We went from BF to formula which stopped him been regular, and now it seems to have sorted that but deffo a little runny.

We have only just started Colief but what was your experience in stopping it - when do you know when to stop it as it's a bloody pain making bottles half hour earlier. Especially in the night

There are instructions for making formula in advance with 2 drops and storing in the fridge for 4 hours. Could you use this as an option in the night?

We have never given him bottles that have been made up in advance always tried to make them fresh the link was useful for other advise though thank you x
