18 month sleep regression?

Looking for some advice / reassurance please!

My 18 month DD has always been a pretty good sleeper, she has slept a solid 11/12 hours through the night for months and months. However, over the past week she has been waking through the night a few times really upset. Sometimes she settles back down quickly after a quick cuddle, but others she won’t and it can take a good while to settle her. She then wakes super early for the day around 6am and is whiney throughout the day cos she is obviously not getting enough sleep!

Her routine is:

6-6.30 - wakes
12/12.30 - nap (can be anything from an hour to two, but usually around the 80 minute mark)
6.15 - bath
6.45 - cup of cows milk and stories
7 - bed where she self settles with a dummy and is usually asleep within 10 mins with absolutely no fuss.

So is this like to be a regression? She’s maybe having a developmental spurt? She has been walking since 15 months, but her speech is coming on leaps and bounds and is now stringing a few words together - would that be a factor?

I’ve been so so lucky with her sleep
so these broken nights are a shock to the system!

Could be teeth or a growth spurt and actually waking because they are hungry or thirsty.
Try some water or milk in a sippy cup you might find they settle quicker.
Mine had teething and a cold coming on for the last couple of weeks

Thank you. I do give her some water if she doesn’t settle quickly.
