Wanting to buy DD toy for her 2nd birthday.
Which toys keep your child entertained for a while. That they don't get bored with after 5 minutes.
Thanks

It's a difficult one as 2 year olds aren't renowned for having a huge attention span.

How is she with puzzles?

Ds got a Thomas scooter for his second birthday. Used it as much as he was allowed! Only quite at 5 when he was too tall for it!

Large toy - a kitchen. Still gets used everyday 2 years later

Other hits in this house have been doll and pushchair playmobil 123 zoo and anything involving playdoh

I’m getting my daughter a Baby Annabel and a toy pram for her 2nd birthday later this month. She got an ice cream cart thing for her 1st birthday that she still loves to role play with and my 3.5yo enjoys it too so I think we’ll get another couple of years out of it.

For our LO's 2nd birthday, we're getting him a Little People car garage (the kind with a lift and ramps). He has a Little People farm set already which keeps him occupied for long periods. Extended family will be getting him a shopping trolley, animal figures, a tool kit and a toy vacuum.

Other larger toys that have held his attention are the play kitchen and the easel.

My son got a tractor and trailer for his 2nd birthday. I showed him how to load the trailer with his ball pit balls, then tip them all out. He lost his mind, and sat loading and tipping for a solid 30 minutes while I enjoyed a nice cup of coffee 😁
