Before anyone starts yes I know, but there is literally 1 indoor venue for under 7's and its a hideously depressing and crap softplay with no windows and horrifically high prices.

So we have a place with an adventure playground with a few other outdoor bits and a bar/restaurant, they are giving us a function room indoors as well but it is literally a small'ish room, weather foreast not looking great (weep) what on earth can I organise for 2hrs indoors that wont be crap!

4-6 year olds.

I can only think of pass the parcel, we live rural but I can drive to a big tescos and small'ish b&m quite easily if anyone has seen anything in there I could buy.

Thanks in advance.

At 4-6 they will probably want to still be outside if you ask parents to bring suitable wet weather clothing.

Cheap crafts/tattoos/pieces of blank paper and pens on a table.

Table to make their own paper airplanes.

You can buy those airplane gliders and have a competition to see who throws the furthest.

My Beavers love games like Duck Duck Goose and naming the corner of the rooms and getting them to run to them when they are called out, as well as Traffic Lights, Granny's Footsteps and pin the tail on a donkey.
