My nephew is talking about a book he read at school, there is a boy called Tom who is with his mummy, he is seeing ghosts and a genie but the mum doesn't believe him.
We've searched but can't find the one he is taking about, do a anyone have an idea? Thanks x

The only one that comes to mind is The Ghost of Thomas Kempe, but the ghost is called Thomas not the little boy...

Oh dear! Probably a bit much for your DC at 4 years old!

And now I've just realised he's your nephew... on that note I'm going for a lie down before I mess anything else up!

The ghosts and genie don't ring bells (I have a just turned 5 year old so thinking what she's read). There's Tom and Small, by Clara Vulliamy, about a boy who starts school and visits the school in his dreams overnight, or the Tom and Pippo books, which have either mum or dad in them.

Where is Tom when he sees the ghosts and the genie?
