WONDEROOS - Experiences Please - and a Q for NAPPYZONE

Has anyone used the Hip Hip Baby Wonderoos (btp) for any length of time? I'm just wondering how they stood up to repeated use -especially the MF inserts.

Nappyzone - I saw you haven't stocked the wonderoo inserts - the two that snap together if needs be. Just wondered why. The ones I have in my trial kits have fallen to bits after hardly any use - wondered if you had heard bad things about them or if you just preferred the GADS (which are fab imo too)

I have - they're fine. The new MF inserts look a bit dubious, so I'm not overly keen now. My old ones have been fabulous though.

I am starting to lean towards using GAD with them too - they aren't as bulky and no poppers.

I have wonderoos and really like them although I am currently on a bumgenius binge . The colours stay lovely and bright, the fleece stays lovely and white, all in all very good.

A couple of the MF inserts are a bit worse for wear, one of the poppers fell off one of them within weeks of getting them and on a couple the stitching has come undone so all of that is a bit rubbish but doesn't seem to have affected the absorbancy/function.

I would maybe try other inserts with them in future though.

I find them huge so prefer the gads or an ellas house in them. I have been using them a while sinc ehe was about 4 months and hes still fairing well and they do look in ggod form still.

I put a GAD inside one today and agree they do fit well. Just really not sure about those wonderoo inserts and it sounds like others have got the same doubts - they are huge aren't they!

Maveta - are the BG hugely better than the wonderoos IYO? Just heard a lot about the aplix wearing with time and the pul. If I could still find the V2 BOGOF then I might have been tempted to recommend them.

I'm asking on behalf of someone with a 5MO and a budget. It's their first baby so it would be nice to recommend a pocket nappy that will last long enough to do another baby if neccessary.

I like them both for different reasons - The wonderoos are better on a chunky baby than the bg, but the bg look neater. Th benefit of the wonderfull inserts is that you can just use the little one when the baby is newborn.
