Okay so maybe title is dramatic but I’m so upset.
my 10m DD seems to get excited for everyone but me. If I’ve been at work and pick her up for my moms, she’s kind of happy but not really. But when her dad gets home she’s screaming and shouting in excitement.
I went out yesterday and DD spent the day having fun with my partner (her dad).
today partner accidentally clipped her leg into her chair (poor DD). She was really crying so I picked her up and she through a fit, my partner asked to cuddle her as he felt guilty and she instantly settled. I then tried to give her a cuddle and she refused again, passed her back to my partner and no tears.
i feel like the worst parent in the world, she’s 10m old and you hear about baby’s needing their mothers. And I can’t even settle mine when she’s upset.
I’ve gone out to walk to dogs because I’m heartbroken. Please help me feel better
