Baby crying/ latch issues bottle feeding

Need some advise please. My baby is almost six weeks old and has suffered since day one with what I thought was wind/ tummy issues. Also only poos every three days so seems uncomfy with this also. Was on kendamil but my gut was telling me the milk was the issue so changed to aptamil two weeks ago and got so much better for a while. Now the last couple days he’s started crying whilst feeding and squirming. I’ve noticed he also doesn’t seem to be latching on properly to the mam teat. I’ve noticed this on and off since birth but it’s not all the time sometimes he latched fine and then other times I can see a gap in the side of his mouth and he makes a clicking noise. But last few days it’s every feed and he’s getting so upset. He also now has just fallen asleep after only and 30ml and won’t take any more. We use the mam bottles. Do I need to consider changing bottles? Or do I go up to the size 2 teat although he’s not two months yet.

Go up a teat, the clicking is classic sign that the teat isn't working anymore x

Get a private tongue tie assessment - clicking (along with the other symptoms) is a classic symptom of an undiagnosed tongue tie. Don’t go to your GP or HV - they aren’t qualified to assess for tongue tie.
