We bought mamas and papas ocarro for dd who is 10 weeks old second hand but I really don't like it. It's so heavy and bulky and difficult to fold up etc

Would love recommendations for a light weight and compact travel system as we've decided to sell and buy a different one but want to get it right this time

Yoyo or joolz aer plus both can have bassinets. Personally we went for the joolz aer plus as Husband is tall and kept kicking the break on the yoyo but other slightly shorter parents rave about the yoyo too.

Joolz aer plus positives for me
Genuinely a one hand fold and unfold I can domit whilst carrying my 9 month old.

The stroller part lays flat and has an extendable canopy for some nice dark naps on the go

I can fit it in my passenger foot well so don't even use the boot!

Negatives- getting it out of the recline position is a kneel on the floor job.... Not great in the rain!

The yoyo we hired for one week so cannot give as detailed but the break is off centre which meant DH kicked it alot when walking and would then jolt out DS .... Which DS found hilarious but it does fold down lovely and small.

Neither come with car seats

*jolt our DS

Don't think my son would find it quite so hilarious being jolted out of the stroller

Bugaboo butterfly. You can use it till their 4/6 months tho... which is a shame so my second vote is the yo-yo (babyzen)

I love my super cheap Maxi Cosi Lara2. It doesn't have the best handling, it's not the most luxe. But it folds like a dream and is perfect for running around town.

You can get car seat adaptors and our maxi Cosi pebble360 car seat fits on it.

Doesn't have a bassinet but they're so short lived I've not been bothered for dc2.

I have a big cross country pram for dog walks but I love the Lara for every day.

We also hired a yo-yo before and never had a jolt issue. We love it. So much so we’ve just bought a brand new yoyo from Mamas & Papas for £324 which saved me loads on full price.

They priced match baby&co with a 5% code - I did have to call customer services to get the price match.

Then I used the welcome £25 code sent via their website and was also able to use a £30 referral gift voucher off a friend.

If anyone would like a referral code just use this link https://mamasandpapas.mention-me.com/m/wa/sh7ki-c10d960c82
so pleased with it. And they resell very well. Know times are hard for many atm so I hope this helps someone

Get a £30 Mamas & Papas gift card at Mamas & Papas

I shopped at Mamas & Papas the other day and they’ve given me a special offer for my friends and family to use. I know you’re getting ready for your little one’s arrival, so I’m sharing a referral card that gives you £30 when you spend over £150 – and...
