Toddler Sleep?

I have an 18month old toddler who has always been a relatively good sleeper unless sick/teething etc. Usually she is ready for bed by 7pm and goes to sleep fairly quickly after that until 6-7am next morning (for which I am very grateful). Over the last week or two she is still going to bed but lying awake talking/singing until 8.30 or 9pm sometimes? Then waking and being quite tired the next day. The odd time she has fallen asleep and then woke up again and I can hear her talking/singing etc again til about 9pm. Nothing else seems to have changed other than the days are brighter? She is still having full days at creche and I think the hours are catching up as she is getting quite grumpy and tired at points. I can put up black out curtains tonight, its just never really been an issue before. Is there anything else I'm not considering?

A little younger but I have a 14 month old pretty good sleeper, same as you. I am thankful everyday! But... we have had the same issue for the last month or so. I think its development and the light. When it's time for bed it's still bright outside which is confusing for a toddler. Light = play time!

Not much advise but black out curtains did help a bit with us so definitely worth a try
