Head turn preference while sleeping

DD is 5 months old and will always sleep with her head turned to one side, I've tried to turn it but she will move it back after a short while or wake up.
While awake she will easily turn her head both directions so not sure a referral to physio will help?
Just worried she'll end up with a misshapen head. She mostly contact naps so will sleep on other side on me during the day.
Just I just let her sleep as she wants or keep trying to move her head?

If you have the funds a good cranial osteopath will sort this. Often it’s from labour/ birth/being slightly squashed in the uterus.

Unless she is showing ill effects, leave her be and appreciate she has found a comfortable position.

I absolutely second this!! My son was getting a significant flat spot completely sorted within 3 sessions.
Weirdly Americans sort this by making the baby wear a helmet for months.
