Milk bleb/breastfeeding pain

Hello! My right breast was very engorged last week even tho my baby (5 months) was feeding from it continuously. I then realised I had a milk bleb, and as soon as I popped it (using a sterile needle in the shower) all the milk was released (heaven!)
However, my nipple is still sore a week later? Latch seems fine, no engorgement, nipple looks fine too albeit a bit pale, but every feed I shiver with pain. Anyone had this before? Not mastitis (had this with my first and I have no red sore patch/don't feel fluey etc)
Thanks in advance x

It could be some other kind of infection? It sounds like you need it checked out.

I used to get them and they hurt for a few days but it was a constant bruised pain. Definitely get it checked out.

Ahhh just read that vasospasm is worse when the weather is cold, and I have noticed this too. Will ring GP in the morning. Thank you x
