Is there some kind of sleep regression around 11 months?
My daughter has never been a baby to sleep through the night, but we'd got to a point where she only woke once and sometimes she needed a little bit of milk or sometimes just a cuddle, but on the whole she'd be back down after 20 mins.
But the past two weeks it honestly feels like we have a newborn again.
Last night for example, she fought sleep, not going at 7pm as usual (even though she was exhausted), and finally fell asleep at 8pm. She then slept until midnight and woke up screaming and wouldn't calm down without milk. Then she slept until 2.45am and started crying (she's still in our room because of not sleeping well), but wouldn't calm with a cuddle so she ended up in bed with me but she's tossed and turned and cried on and off all night.
I'm just worried she's not getting anywhere near as much rest as she needs. She is also fighting naps as hard as she can, and won't nap as long as she used to, doing at most 40 mins in the morning and the same in the afternoon. She is teething quite badly at the moment, so I know this is probably playing a part, but I just wondered if it was a regression too because it's really concerning me that she isn't getting enough sleep or rest 😣
Thank you for your help x
