9 month old gasping since drinking water?

Hey guys, bit worried over here! Not sure if it’s normal. My 9 month old DS was drinking water from a small bottle and after drinking a sip he was gasping a bit? And then after every 1-2 mins he gasped or choked(?) for the next 15 mins? He’s playing happily in his walker and he’s behaving normally and now he’s not doing that. Is this normal? It sounded a bit like a small gasp or sharp intake of breath and then he was normal again? I don’t know how to describe it. A bit like he couldn’t breathe properly but he’s definitely breathing properly. Is it something to worry about?

Was it a normal water bottle or a baby's bottle?

The title is wrong I just realised! He’s not gasping since drinking water. He did a few times but now he’s absolutely fine and even then he was fine. It sounded a bit like when a baby gets overexcited and the sound they make. Now he’s running around in his walker, throwing everything around and blowing raspberries at everyone 😂

Glad baby is ok.

Do you think the water just went 'down the wrong hole' as I call it as I have occasionally had this happen to me.

That’s what my initial thought was actually! That’s most likely what it was :) do you think I should just keep an eye on him then, or tell my doctor tomorrow?
