If you live with extended family do babies always know who they’re mum is?

If the mum does everything will they always love mum the most

Felt I should respond despite not being remotely the details, yet what you are stating re relatives who aren't parents.
Sounds like you are in a situation where your child is care for by you...and others.
Obviously the incredible mom's who gave birth to their children are in charge.
Are you in a different position and need help?

For the last few months we've been living with my parents, and yes, my 2 yo knows who Mummy is and what Mummy does. If he needs something or gets hurt, it's always Mummy he goes to.

I do make sure that I'm the one who does the caring for him. Partly to not take advantage of my parents and partly for this exact reason.
