Toddler back to yellow poos?

Any parents have experience of this? My 13mo has gone back to having mustardy nappies again just this last week (normally brown), like the BF nappies of old but not runny. She is still BF but eating solids normally. Frequency has been normal so I don't think it's passing through too quickly. She's started nursery v recently and they suggested teething - she does have a tooth about to cut through but this didn't happen with the other teeth. I wondered if it could be a bug but she seems well otherwise. Would really appreciate any insight on whether this sounds normal or needs a GP call? FTM and learning everything on the go 😅

My DD's poo always goes bright yellow and sludgy when teething and it stinks absolutely foul!

My 4 year old has always had loose poos but GP not concerned, he's had a few tests which haven't showed us anything. GP says it's toddler tummy.

You may aswell go to GP to put your mind at rest. She'll probs be fine though.

This happened to dd a lot whenever she ate anything new. It's not a concern unless (as per nhs website) they're not keeping fluids down, or it's constantly runny, or high temp etc etc.

They'll feed the kids different foods at nursery than you feed at home so it'll be that I reckon.

For example, dd is a very fussy eater at home but at nursery they'll report things like she succeeded in eating a whole bowl of couscous and vegetable stew (??! At home the only veg she'll touch is sweetcorn unless you count chocolate which technically comes from a bean)

OP my toddler just had a tummy bug that did this - only 1 extra poop a day but all were yellow and grainy like the newborn nappies of old!

He had a temp and was snotty at the same time too so I knew it was a bug - in case that helps. But it sorted itself out after a few days and he wasn't very miserable or off his food.

Thank you so much for all your replies, they've been really reassuring. DD's haven't been runny and so far no temp but slight cough and a tooth cut through over the weekend so my guess is either teething or minor bug. Sounds like it's usual enough that we don't need to worry too much though, will probably just check in with the GP if it doesn't settle over the next few days.

I love that @Mummy08m , will include chocolate in my 5 a day going forward 😁
