Hey guys. I feel so sad right now. I was feeding 8 month old DS his breakfast and took him out and sat him on the sofa after he was done. My leg was in front of him so he doesn’t roll forward but he still somehow managed to try and grab his plate from the table in front and he hit his head on the edge. It’s a hard wooden table and there was a loud sound when he hit his head 🥺 he cried for about a minute and after that he’s been absolutely fine and playing around and laughing like normal. I still feel so bad though and I know it’s going to leave a mark. What should I do 😭 should I take him to the doctor even though he seems fine?

He will be fine, just keep an eye out for any drowsiness etc. The guilt is worse, I accidentaly bashed my ds into the door frame once the noise was terrible he was fine though.

This will be one of the first of many many head bumps OP. If they are fine, acting normal, not unusually drowsy, don't vomit etc then kiss it better and move on!

Totally get the guilt though, DDs first head bump was at only a few weeks old, I held her up to smell her nappy and clonked her head on the glass kitchen light fitting!
