I’m after some reassurance as I’m so worried. My son is 9 and today I accidentally gave him a whipped cream pudding that was out of date…and I noticed blue mould on it! I can’t believe I did it! I’m so worried he’s going to get listeria or something!!!

He will be fine. Honestly.
DM still cuts mould off cheese and eats the rest of the block.
As kids it was the done thing to scrape the mould off the jam and eat the rest of the jar or cut mould off bread, veg and all sorts. We survived.

“if you eat mold, the odds are high that nothing will happen or you may experience a slight gastrointestinal upset. “You would need a very under-developed immune system and to eat a ton of mold in order to get sick,”
