No nice newborn photos!

My Dc was high needs straight away - I honestly have gone through my whole phone and I do not have even one photo of my Dc lying nicely in her bassinet/crib/Moses basket. In all of my photos of her lying down she’s either crying/screaming (mum pick me up now) or her beady eyes are wide open (rascal). The only photo I have of Dc asleep (not being held) is in the hospital a few hours after birth and it’s hardly a nice photo with the bright green and yellow hospital curtains in the background. Feel a bit glum about it. I obviously have plenty of photos of my Dc as a newborn but nothing I’d be framing. Carrie Johnson has uploaded a lovely photo of her new baby looking pristine today.

Anyone else had this?

I think in all my baby photos of eldest she is being held by someone. I've got to be honest, I like it that way!

A good black and white conversion can hide a multitude of colour-clashing backgrounds.

Sleeping newborn photos are incredibly hard to get right. It's always easier to get a good photo when they're being held.

Yes I have this ' problem'! Although my little girl has stayed high needs and I hardly have any nice pictures of her at all at nearly a year old.

Definitely the first 6 months she was pretty much exclusively being rocked in tiger in a tree hold in someone's arms to stop her crying.

My son was a happy smiler and we have loads of pics of him around the house!
