Will I ever get over the guilt I feel for treating my first born like a much older child when my second was born? I can see clearly now after some time on anti depressants and I feel like I wasted so much time with my oldest and I wasn't a good enough mother to her by often prioritising the baby when she was still a baby herself . I am making up for it now big time, trying to have special one to one time and always making time for books at bed and things. Don't get me wrong, she was still adored and looked after but if I could have a do over, I would take it.
Is this a normal guilt to feel? Do all second time parents feel this to some extent? For context the age gap is just over two years between them.
