8 month old vomited after feed and walk

Hey guys, a bit worried over here! I took DS out for a walk in his pushchair and it was a bit warm outside (21-22 degrees I think). He fell asleep and we got back a short while ago, I breastfed him and then picked him up (we never have to burp him anymore after a feed). It sounded like he burped at the same time and he vomited on my shoulder and also over the floor. It’s the first time this has happened, could it be due to the weather? It was a bit warm in our bedroom too today around 23 degrees even with the windows open etc. due to the weather? A bug? Do I need to take him to the doctor or what can I do? Any advice would be much appreciated.

Could be just a burp that went wrong. Both of mine have done this occasionally. Definitely no need to see doctor for baby having a one-off spew. Just carry on as normal and if it's anything further like a bug, it will soon be clear!

Thank you so much 😊

Could it also be due to overfeeding? How would I know if I’m overfeeding him?

My little one does this all the time, really wouldn’t worry. You can’t overfeed when you breast feed. When my now 9month old learnt to crawl about 7m she would regularly throw Ip crawling about after feeding. It’s just the muscles aren’t developed fully yet. Really wouldn’t worry if he just throws up the once and is other wise well and happy
