DP has gone away for the weekend so it’s just been me and DS. He has been the clingiest he’s ever been, refusing to play without me ANYWHERE we have been and constantly climbing on me and making demands for whatever enters his mind. If I hear “mummy” one more time my brain will explode.

He is my everything but oh my god. I am exhausted.

Anyone else?

Stick the telly on I would. If he's not usedto Dad going away he mught be extra clingy,or he might justbe being clingy. But if you hear yourself saying "I ought to .." to yourself, you have an order from me to reply with "do I really though? - probably not, it can wait. "

I was wondering about the 18 months...!

Currently 22 weeks pregnant with twins that are nearing 3. We have the TV on..... sometimes you just have to survive.

My eldest(now 6) watched a tonne of TV when I was expecting her brothers as I had hyperemisis. No lasting damage done, honest! Not any kind of telly addict now, we just stopped watching it once I was feeling better.
