Bike / trike for nearly 3 year old

Just that really. Any recommendations for a bike / trike for an almost 3 year old? She's only just got the hang of a balance bike but it looks too small for her to be fair.

I'm expecting next week and was thinking of getting her a bike as a gift 'from' the baby.

TIA x

A bigger balance bike. Or maybe a first pedal bike, but don't actually put the pedals on it yet, so use is as a balance bike with breaks for a bit.
Mine were on balance bikes til over 3, then pedalling (no stablizers) by 4. They were pretty slight so probably could have pedalled earlier if we could have found a light enough, small enough, bike for them.

Unless she's very tall, or your balance bike is unusually small, I'd be a bit surprised if it's too small for her at not quite 3. Maybe check the recommended heights for the one you have? No point in replacing something you don't have to. Would DD be excited by a new balance bike? I think you want the new baby present to be something they'll love (a box of cheap craft bits in our case!).

That said, DD1 was ready and desperate to try pedals shortly after 3 (zooming around on the balance bike, and able to use the brake), so she got a secondhand absolutely tiny Islabikes Cnoc14s as a late birthday present, as that was the only decent quality brand I could find that made something dinky enough.

A bigger balance bike, isla bikes are great or frog. Both mine went from isla bike balance bikes to isla pedal bike, peddling without stabilisers at just 4.
