Nap routine for 7 month old

Hi I’m looking for some advice about a nap routine for a 7 month old please.

My baby girl has just turned 7 months and has started sleeping absolutely awful at night. She’s never been a good sleeper and has been waking up ever 1hr- 2hrs (or more) throughout the night for months, however she has started waking up at about 3am most mornings for about 2 hours and refuses to go back to sleep no matter what I do. I’ve tried researching it and seems she is either over or under-tired (no idea which). She has 2/3 naps a day. First 2 naps are around 1 1/2 hours whilst the last one is about 30 mins although she has started refusing her last nap even though she is obviously tired. Most the time she ends up missing the 3rd nap and I end up keeping her awake a bit longer until she goes to bed.

I thought maybe she was ready to transition to 2 naps but her awake windows are at no more than 2 1/2 hours (except for the last one where she refuses to sleep) and she’ll get overtired and grumpy if I try keep her awake longer therefore 2 naps just won’t work. Bit confused as she’s getting overtired before bed but won’t have another nap just not sure what to do!

What time is her bedtime? Could you maybe try a 45 min nap in the morning then a 1.5hr for her next one?

Anywhere between 7.30 - 9.30 depending when she wakes up in the morning and whether or not she has her last nap. I thought about shortening her naps but she gets grumpy if she doesn’t nap for long enough and feel bad waking her up

Your Dc sounds like mine. Also seven months and never slept brilliantly but to be honest I also think this is fairly normal. I’ve put some of the early wakes down to the light mornings.

if it helps my seven month tends to do one short nap after breakfast (45 min), a long two hour lunch nap, and another cat nap about 4/5pm. Some days don’t go like this at all and she’ll do four shorter naps. I’m very baby led.
