Anyone with a tripp trapp high chair, is it suitable for weaning at 6 months?

Do i need the baby set or what adds on do i need for this?

We use it with the baby set and it’s been great so far. I prefer it to any of the other ones we have tried in restaurants etc. Many are too big for 6 month babies and lots don’t have a good footrest. I also have the cushion and the tray. I’d eventually like to use it at the table directly but for the first stage of weaning it’s handy to put stuff on the tray directly and it allows coverall bibs to be used to reduce the amount of mess. My DD is also in a stage of knocking everything she can reach off the table so the tray acts as a buffer.

We have one (toddler now uses is without table or leg structure but still has seat back on). Will be getting another for our new baby. Might get the seat cushion this time

Yes, we used it from about 5 months. With baby set, no tray. He’s used it at the table since then

My children are 9 and 12 and both still sit in the Tripp trapp chairs that we weaned them in.

we didn’t have the baby set, just the high chair bit and cushions. We also had the tray that sticks onto the table. It’s still great for messy craft projects.

We used it since 6 months. I got a cheap tray on eBay and no cushions. Why wouldn’t it work
