Sleeping all the time?

Thought I'd make a separate post.

My 1 year old seems to be sleeping an awful lot. She slept last night right through from about 8.30pm to 7am.

Show got up, had some milk (cows milk) and some toast like always and about 10 minutes ago (8.40am) she's fell asleep! It's not like I put her for a nap, she wanted some cuddles so I sat her beside me and put some cartoons on and next time I looked over she was asleep.

She had her jags nearly 2 weeks ago now so I doubt it's anything to do with that. Is she just going through a growth spurt or something? Or could there be an underlying condition I'm not aware of? (Not to sound dramatic)

If it's a one off don't worry. She could be coming down with something or just having a tired day.
If it becomes a pattern you might want to get her checked. But she's still very young so I wouldn't worry.

This is the kind of thing I would have worried about, so it will either be she's coming down with something, sleep pattern changing? Does she have a rigid nap time in the day? Did she skip a nap yesterday? She could also be having a growth spurt.

As the PP said, as a one off nothing to worry about, just keep a closer eye on her.

@whosaidtha @BobShark - thanks for your replies. It's not really a one off, she's been doing similar for a week or so now. Really clingy. Always wants cuddles, very snoozy and likes a nap.

She is t always as settled at nighttime. She tends to have a bad night and the following night will be better presumably because she's tired from the previous nights antics.

Just hope she's okay!

@whosaidtha it sounds as though she may be moving towards a change in her sleep pattern from what you've said, keep an eye on her and let her rest if she's genuinely tired 😊
