WWYD Potty Training?

She has been using the potty most mornings as soon as she wakes up she goes for a wee so she seemed more that ready to potty train.

I've stayed in with my 3.5 year old this weekend to potty train. Yesterday she was bare bottom and had just 2 accidents. Today I put her in knickers and she's had 5 accidents. She's due to go to nursery tomorrow all day. I don't know what to do I don't want to go backwards and have her having to wear pull ups there. I thought she would be ready by tomorrow with less accidents.
What would you do?

I don't have more than 2 consecutive days off work so it's not like I can potty train again for longer.

Thanks

It takes more than 2 days to potty train!

Do the nursery support potty training and will help/take her to the toilet at regular intervals? Could she wear trousers but no knickers? (Knickers can feel like a nappy to them).

My little one has been potty training for 2 weeks and is still having some accidents. It's a whole new thing for them to learn and takes time and patience.

You need more days than that! Everyone I know specifically used either annual leave or a long weekend for it.
We did it during a spell of Covid 10 day isolation which was easy but everybody else in my circle took time off work to do it so they had a 3-4 day run at it before back at childcare.

What's your nursery like? We only had 3 days at home over the bank holiday weekend and very much still having accidents when DS went to nursery on the Monday.

Nursery were very supportive though, knew DS could do it (at just turned 3) and had been suggesting for a bit that we gave it a go. Pretty much cracked it in that first week, but nursery did do a lot of the leg work!

Hmmm...I guess I was just basing two days working off my eldest. He potty trained in two days and I put that down to waiting until he was 3.5 years. I wasn't expecting her to be completely accident free but I definitely wasnt expecting 8 accidents on day 2 especially since she used the potty before the 2 days.

I'll see what nursery say.
