My baby is 5 months and we have had the Fisher Price kick and play piano gym, its brilliant! Baby loves it and allows me to

get some jobs done whilst he is in the kitchen with me!

Any other great interactive toys out there?

Not quite your question but with our first we didn't get a high chair until he was eating solid food. But with our second it's perfect to put him in and watch me cleaning up in the kitchen or whatever, he sometimes likes to see what I'm up to more then having his head in a toy.

Aside from that, for 5 months if you're child can't crawl but can sit up? Then stacking cups,a little keyboard/piano, rattles, even some different material eg fluffy, cotton, etc all that kind of thing are good. Try to look at that skills your little one is trying to"practise" and find something that suits that.
