Teething tips

Hi! I have a 6 month old and his teeth are driving him mad where he's so grisly 24/7 and is also shaking his head side to side in his sleep waking up in pain (which is helped when he has teething gel) but there's literally NO sign of his teeth anywhere. Other than teething gel does anyone have any tips? It's driving us both mad with how miserable he is

Ah teething is tough. My DS was like that for about 2 weeks before the teeth popped through. The obvious stuff like Calpol (although some swear by nurofen mine hated it) and teething gels.
Anything cold. Put teething toys and dummies, if he has one, in the fridge.
Really well cooked steak was great and he would chew on it for ages plus apparently they get good iron from just gumming it but that's an expensive teether 😂
A rusk, I know they are full of sugar but I only gave it when teething.
Distraction.... And vaseline. The dribble rash can be quite something.
