My 3 year old was up most of last night hysterically crying in pain over a sore ear. No other symptoms, but he did have some sort of viral infection last week that cleared up (temp, cough.)
He mostly refuses painkillers but we forced some Calpol which didn’t help much.
He’s woken up right as rain saying he’s all better now. I’ve booked an appointment at the GP anyway just due to the sheer pain he was in last night, but I’m assuming if it was a true ear infection then he’d still be in pain today!? I’ve read it’s worse at night but nowhere does it say non existent during the day!
