Changing Nursery

So my 14mo DD goes to nursery 2 days a week. The nursery is open 8am - 5.30pm. As I do compressed hours my working day it is always a rush doing the commute and dping my hours and only allows me a 30min lunch. I am considering moving nursery to one that is ope earlier/later. DP thinks we shouldnt move her as she is settled there and likes it. Unfortunately his shifts are 7-7 so he cant do the drop offs and pick ups. I think she is young enough to not have formed proper friendships and is pretty chilled, we never had any issues settling her in. I also wouldnt mind being able to have a slightly longer lunch break to maybe fit in some exercise! AIBU?

At 14 months she really won't know any different. I'd move her. Hopefully you won't have any issues getting a place at the new nursery

I’d also move her -she’ll be fine. Or your DH can work out how he helps with the current one.

She'll be fine if you move her, they're very adaptable! Either that or he can move his hours to do his share of the drop offs and pick ups....

I’d defo move her. As lovely as DHs opinion is, he doesn’t do pick ups and drop offs so it’s not a very useful one!

Thanks all for cementing my decision! Nursery visit booked and DP on board 🥳
