Baby number 2

I have one active DC, who has just turned 3. I'm expecting my next baby in December, by which time DC1 will be 3 and a half.

Is it truly double the work with 2? What can I do to make things as smooth and streamlined as possible?

All tips and advice welcome!

Bumping for you OP as currently considering TTC number 2!

It will be fine.
Buy a sling.
Buy a present from baby to their big brother/sister.
Make older child your 'special helper'.
Use your free childcare hours and don't feel guilty that the older child is in nursery while you are on mar leave.
Lower your tidiness standards.
Make sure that your partner is clear on how roles are to be divided and that they stick to it.
