Advice anyone? We did the 3 day potty training method and things were going great. Accidents only on Day 1 for poop, half accidents for pees. Day 2 were total success for poos (he poos 3x a day most days), most pees were a full success. Day 3 started in the same way- afternoon I introduced underwear on advice of the creche- and pees were fine, but he had two poo accidents. He was so so so so upset even though i kept totally calm, assured him its not a problem etc. however, there was poo everywhere - especially the second one as it was a good bit softer. He screamed and screamed the entire time, there were bits falling down while he ran away etc. Poor poor child,I felt so sorry for him. Day 4: pees perfect. Not. One. Poo. And again, he poos 3x a time normally. He is totally traumatized for sure.what can I do to help him get over his fear? I have sat him on the potty w screentime when he would usually poop, I have promise ice cream, but nope. No luck. Any advice? Should we just go back to nappies?

Try training pants?

How old is he? My boys were about 3.5 when I potty trained them and took to it straight away. We tried once before but it was a disaster so we didn’t bother as didn’t want them to be stressed.

Thanks both! Boy is 3 and 2 months - yes might switch to training pants!
