Taking out 4 year old on holiday during school term

My son starts school in September , we are thinking to take him to visit our family next June for 2 weeks. We’re aware of the £60 fine for each parent. Is taking a 4 year old in reception really frowned upon? I’d understand if he’s studying towards 11+ or gcse’s but I doubt he’ll be missing out on too much.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I don’t think they can find you until they’re 5? I wouldn’t worry, lots of people do it in reception.

They won't done you if he's under CSA (he is)

Oh I wasn’t aware! Thanks both
