DD with tonsilitis.. and I have a newborn x

My DD has tonsilitis and has started antibiotics this morning. do I need to keep her away from baby? It says online tonsilitis isn’t contagious but virus that causes is like cold/flu etc can be?

You might need to just wing it and hope for the best don't let your Dd be all over the baby and that's probably all you can do.

Tbh the virus was there before the diagnosis of tonsillitis so baby was exposed, hopefully baby doesn't get ill.
