Finding it hard to put 9 month old to sleep

Hello all,
so my ds has always been a good sleeper up until about a month ago, used to put him in his cot he’d protest for about 5 mins then would be asleep. Now he will only fall asleep if I or my dh rock him to sleep, also as soon as I put him in his cot he starts crying even though he has been asleep?! It’s not so bad in the day as I can get him to sleep on me as he only naps for about 45 mins at a time and I can put some tv on in the background or I take him for a walk in the pram. Not sure if this is separation anxiety as if I got to pick him up out of his cot he stops crying. Try to put him to bed about 6:30 but he has been going to bed later recently only just got him to sleep ands it’s 9:35 now!

also he has started biting me on the arms when I rock him and it’s starting to leave marks.

thanks everyone
