Two different schools?

I just need to hear how some of you do it if you need to have two children in two different schools?
Please Don't judge as I genuinely feel really stuck and horrible about this whole thing

We live in a really small town
Not many choices in schools and have to mostly stick to places can go on foot because not only something like taxi is expensive, they're very limited usually with ridiculously long wait times particularly during busy times
And bus services are shocking, for 10mins drive by car (and I can't drive) it's over an hour on bus usually with at least one change (for different company buses a lot of times which means double fares, had this struggle before)

So now that we have that out of the way
DS1's teacher think it might be time to look for special school (he's autistic and I thought he was doing well, managed to make some friends, his reading and writing came a long way the only problem is he struggles to sit still for long periods of time & his comprehension is limited, few years behind) he has an assistant that helps him in class but teacher said it might be time to look at if the mainstream school is the option for him

Then I have ds2 starting the same school in September, no sen needs

I feel stuck because like I said not a lot of choice in primary schools, I desperately need to find a job since we're struggling as most people but I'm severely limited to options with where I can get on foot & school hours

The nearest sen school is also in completely opposite direction to the one youngest would be in and it's far
Not far enough that council would provide any support but far enough Ds1 would struggle to walk and since he's very slow it would take twice as long
Can't rely on buses since like i said they're not very good here and it would be expensive I don't know how to shoulder with everything else getting to be too much and also I obviously cannot be in two different schools at the same time for drops off and pickups

I just don't know what to do about this all? Getting ds1 to sen school would be a struggle by itself but with ds2 in different school it would be even harder. Also cannot afford breakfast club for one of them, if there somehow are places as they're very limited (small school). How could I manage two children in two different schools? What am I meant to do here? Perhaps there is an obvious answer I somehow missed because I feel really lost

Sorry for the rumbling
Just very stressful year for a lot of things and now this to think about

@Tiredmummy224 Im so sorry that you're struggling, having a DC with ASD can be so hard can't it? Flowers

I'd ask @MNHQ to move this over to the SN Children section. You might get some advice in there on obtaining some transport.
