1yo snack ideas? And do you serve snacks in high chair?

I’m just starting to introduce snacks to my 1yo. He’s had little snacks like puffs and rice cakes occasionally if I’ve needed to distract him when fussy in his pram but he’s never been the biggest eater and is still a boob monster but I’m trying to cut that down by replacing with snacks now that he’s 1 year. However, I’m stuck for ideas! He’s CMPA. Also, do you put your little ones in their high chair for snacks? He’s the messiest eater and meals can take 45mins-1hr so I’m worried he’s just going to be in his high chair all day 🙈

Chopped fruit, greek yogurt etc, yes in highchair.

I did put in highchair at that age, and you might find he starts eating more if it's little and often rather than three meals a day. He won't really know the difference between meals and snacks so you can give anything you'd normally feed him at other times, not just what you think of as 'snack food'. Bits of crumpet with peanut butter on went down well in my house.

Toast with mashed avocado
Hidden veg muffins
Hard boiled egg or omelette strips
Shredded chicken or fish

Chopped up veg like carrot and cucumber.

Chopped up fruit like apples and bananas

Mine also like tangerine/clementine segments.

Some great food ideas here already

I did put mine in the highchair, but I would cap the amount of time per meal so he wasn't in it all day. So mealtimes were max 30 min, and snacks were max 15 min.
