how can my husband find his real dad.........

my husband has never met his real dad and since becoming a dad himself he would like to track him down. We know his name and that he was living in isle of man but thats all the information we know. We dont have alot of money so is there a way of finding him without hiring someone.

oh he isnt adopted his parents split up and his mum never kept in contact with him.

I think the Salvation Army run a family tracing service to find missing people - worth contacting them and asking.
