Hi there
my DS 21 month is only 80 cm so very low on the height percentile but on 63 percentile on weight. he is a happy baby... my husband is short and i am tall, so genetic is there for height but still wanted to ask if from your experiences should i run any tests? or is there smth i must do?
many thanks :)

If one of you is short then docs are unlikely to run any tests as it's unlikely to be an endocrine issue... you'll just have to wait and see.
My dgs is short.. he's just turned 2 and is on the 1-2nd centile for height (60th for weight like your ds) so he's a short cute cube Grin

My own DS1 (not grandson's dad) was also a short cube... and remained short until he was 16 when he miraculously had a growth spurt and finally overtook his (short) sister.. he's 5 ft 9 now (and thin as a rail!) which while not tall is a respectable height, so you can't tell how they will end up.

My dgs will probably remain short unfortunately as my dd2 is short and her dh is only 5 ft 7... really hoping dgs can make it that far but he really is TINY!

A length of 80 cm (too young to do a height) at 21 months would be 2nd to 9th centile, so within normal range. You don't say how tall you and dad are.
