Help with son accessing porn sites

I have microsoft family. I have my sons google account set at the correct age. Microsoft family flagged up some sites that were not good. I spoke to my son about this and explained why he shouldnt be looking at these sites. I thought the problem was solved. I discovered that he had been looking again. I have but blocks on these sites via google, I can still access them. I have just created a brand new google account for him and tried these sites and it is letting his computer access them. I dont understand why they are not being blocked.
One of the sites is made.p*rn. I am lost to know what to do apart from banning him using his computer which he needs for school and homework. Please help.

Do you have the ability to block sites at your router? I’m with sky and have it set to no adult sites or over 18 sites.

Having said that although you cannot access porn video sites you can access fan fiction and ‘art’ (anime) sites which often have a darker side to them.

Is there anyway his computer could be brought downstairs into a family area?

i dont know if i can block at the router. I might need to investigate this. Its not practical to have the laptop downstairs as he does his homework. I dont want him to stop playing his steam games in his room. Just want to stop the porn. Thank you for the help

I have uninstalled Google chrome and now he has to use microsoft edge. Tried the porn site and it blocked it. I hope this works for now. I need to go to bed.

One thing to watch op, is the use of proxy websites that allow you to use the proxy one to access another website

thought i had sorted it but i havent. Confiscate the laptop until I can find a way to sort it

Thank you. I had a rough night. Didn't sleep very well. Can't talk to him this morning but he knows why I have taken away his things. He is 12, first year at secondary school. Going to try and take things more calmly and look at the options you have all given me. Thank you

Honestly at 12 he’d only be having the laptop downstairs where I could keep an eye on him.
