Baby - repetitive movements

Hello all,
I'm a first-time mum and still very much learning the ropes.
My baby is nearly 11 weeks old. I've noticed that during his wake windows he continually moves his head from side to side and 'boxes' the air with his hands! This goes on day and night. Is this normal????

I did think that, but he literally does not stop doing it,ha!

Yeah normally. Baby's have pretty jerky movements for quite a while!
