Hello All,
My two year old doesn't seem to have much foods not sure if its a phase, but dinners he hardly has, prefers to have snacky foods, doesnt eat many sandwiches, eats toast but things in the sandwiches he will pick out like ham.. he's good with fruit, chips sometimes, veg hardly, he likes pasta, chicken nuggets no I don't think he likes the texture of chicken, sausages hit and miss just struggling with what to do him, but will always want a yogurt, or so sort of treat 🙈 which i say to him if you eat your lunch/dinner you can have one its hard because I know he needs to eat but I dont want to feed him on treats he needs goodness down him.
please don't judge as some will say least he is eating something I already know that but I'd like him to eat good food first then a reward after :)

My 2yr old daughter always picks things out of the sandwich too! I always just serve it deconstructed with ham/ cheese on the side to save the hassle.
I could’ve written this about her tbh she would just graze all day if I let her and not eat meals. At nursery, or when eating with other children she eats really well, tries everything and finishes her meals often having seconds. So I’m not worried and I think she fusses at home more and knows there are options at home because she’s not daft and can see in the fridge when I open it lol! How does he eat nursery/childminder/ others houses?

@24Dogcuddler aw thank you very much lovely very kind of you 🤗

@Whatisityoucantface thats exactly what my son does we have a integrated fridge/freezer so he can open the door, we do lock it at times, but he will go in and grab them yollies come and give it to me I will give him one he will go back and grab another even though he has lunch on the table 🙈 around other kids it depends really i do find he does eat a bit when with children but more snack foods and is the same foods they are eating like for instance im seeing my friends tomorrow so I can be a snack mum and pack for my son and their children too 😂 so they will have the same snack he will eat the snack then or if they make them all lunch he can sometimes eat it but I think its because the other kids are :) just worries me mostly on dinner cause its his main mean, he isn't poorly skinny but he is very slim. x
