Did you go overdue or early?

Pregnant with DC2! Due Jan 2024 :) I have an amazing DS now, I had an ELCS with him so he was born 39+4, as I had to have him early.

I was going to talk about a VBAC for my 2nd and I just wondered how did you all do? I don’t have nothing to compare as I’ve never been in labour or went into labour

My DS was big at 9lb3oz (with being a few days early too!)

so would they make me be induced as they say your babies get bigger? Completely unsure about it all here
or would they advise anotner ELCS due to previous big baby??

DD was a big baby. 10 pounds one, but by the time I had her I was two weeks overdue, so I think if she had come out on time she would have been a pound or so lighter.

The risk with bigger babies is shoulder dystocia - statistically the chance of it happening are between 5-13% with babies over 8 pounds but trust me, they will tell you this EVERY SINGLE APPOINTMENT to encourage you to have an induction. I wish I had just pushed for C Section now!
