BF with V&D

I came down with V&D 4 days ago and the GP prescribed me anti sickness tablets and rehydration sachets. I stopped V&D after a day but my stomach still feels tight and sore. I couldn't get the rehydration sachets because apparently there's a shortage so been trying to drink lots of water. DS came down with V&D yesterday and he's 11mo. He's off his food just tiny bit and drinking water makes him sick so I've been trying to BF whenever possible. Because I'm dehydrated and still feeling like shit (I've not eaten really anything in 4 days) I feel so drained by BF but i just feel if I can keep DS hydrated then that's a win. My body feels like a train wreck and ontop of that I was sick again last night after having to change DS nappy. DH is helping as much as he can but we also have a 3 year old and with a sick baby it's a lot. Can anyone tell me if there's anything I can do to help myself or tips to get through this? I really thought it would be 24-48h thing but it just won't stop. I really feel broken.

Have been there - its terrible. Its the one time I actually realised I would prefer DD to be sick rather than me. It was a logistical nightmare.

I found drinking lucasade sport really helpful, we well as taking a really good multi vitamin.

I used to offer DD things like mini milks too.
